📜 DAY 1: THE LECTURE (Script for Kati)

Topic: The Robes of Concealment (Dress Code)

[OPENING] "Tal. Welcome to Week 5. Today we speak to the Free Women of Teletus. And to the men who must guard them." "In other worlds, women flaunt their skin. Here, we know that what is precious must be wrapped. That is why we have Law 3.2: Dress."

[SECTION 1: THE HIGH CASTE] "Law 3.2.2 applies to the High Caste. If you are a Scribe, Builder, Physician, Warrior, or Initiate... you must be veiled. Your hair must be up and off your shoulders." "Why? Because loose hair is a signal of the bedroom. In public, you are a mind and a spirit. Your body is private."

[SECTION 2: THE LOW CASTE] "Law 3.2.3 applies to the Low Caste. You are not required to veil, though you may choose to. But you must still cover your hair or style it up." "Listen closely: Law 3.2.1 says 'Robes of Concealment.' No sheer fabric. No transparent silks. If you dress like a slave, do not be surprised if you are treated like one."

[SECTION 3: VISIBILITY] "For High Caste women, only the hair, neck, and hands may be exposed. Low Caste women may expose lower arms for work. Anything more... is a risk. We will discuss that risk later this week."

[CLOSING] "Tomorrow, our players will show you the danger of a Free Woman entering places she does not belong. Dismissed!"

🎭 DAY 2: CREATIVE BRIEF (For Aria/Actors)

Topic: The Tavern Mistake

To: Aria / Caste of Players From: Kati Evans Theme: Law 3.1.3 (Taverns) & 3.1.4 (Warrior Hall)

The Goal: A drama showing why "Nice Girls" don't go to bars alone.

Characters:

  1. LADY ELARA: A naive High Caste woman, unveiled or lightly veiled.

  2. THE TAVERN MASTER: Rough, busy.

  3. THE MAGISTRATE: Stern.

Plot Outline:

  1. The Entry: Elara walks into a tavern set. She sits down and orders a Paga. She thinks she is being "independent."

  2. The Confrontation: The Tavern Master stops her. "Where is your escort, mistress?"

  3. The Argument: Elara argues: "I am a Free Woman! I go where I please!"

  4. The Law: The Magistrate steps in. He cites Law 3.1.3'Free Women shall not enter taverns without the escort of a Free Man.'

  5. The Consequence: He does not collar her (yet), but he threatens her with a public whipping or fines. He escorts her out in shame.

  6. Moral: Independence is not an excuse to break the Law.

🖋️ DAY 3: CREATIVE BRIEF (For Aria/Poets)

Topic: The Shield of Silk

To: Aria / Caste of Players From: Kati Evans Theme: Law 3.1 (Conduct) & 3.2 (Veils)

The Goal: A poem that reframes the Veil not as a cage, but as a Shield. It protects the woman from the gaze of the unworthy.

Key Elements:

  • The Mystery: A veiled woman is a treasure; an unveiled woman is a display.

  • The Respect: Men bow to the robes. They grab at the silk of a slave.

  • Safety: The veil is a wall that says "Do Not Touch."

Sample Imagery: "A jewel kept in velvet deep, Is safe while wolves and shadows creep. My veil, a wall of silk and lace, Protects the honor of my face. Let slaves go bare for all to see, My modesty is what makes me Free."

📖 DAY 4: STORY BRIEF (For Guest Speaker)

Topic: The Crime of the Face-Stripper

To: Guest Speaker / Storyteller Theme: Law 4.3.4 (Face-Stripping)

The Goal: A dark, serious story about the protection Free Women enjoy. It teaches men that touching a Free Woman's veil is a capital crime.

Story Arc:

  • The Villain: A drunkard or a rough mercenary who feels disrespected by a haughty High Caste woman.

  • The Act: In a rage, he reaches out and rips the veil from her face (Face-Stripping).

  • The Reaction: The crowd gasps. This is not a small assault. Law 4.3.4 equates this to rape or attempted rape.

  • The Justice: The Guards descend instantly. The punishment is severe (fines, whipping, or worse).

  • Moral: A Free Woman's modesty is inviolate. To break it is to invite the executioner.

🗣️ DAY 5: THE FORUM (Script for Kati)

Topic: "Slave-Like Behavior" (Intro)

[OPENING] "Tal. We end Week 5. We have spoken of how a Free Woman should act." "But what happens when she stops acting like a Free Woman?" "Next week, we will talk about Enslavement. But today, I want to warn you about the slippery slope."

[SECTION 1: THE DANGER ZONES] "Law 3.3 lists actions that make you 'Slave-Like.' If you act like a slave, the law may decide to make you one." "Law 3.3.5: Public Lewdness. Kissing in the street? That is for slaves." "Law 3.3.7: Slave Dancing. Do not think it is 'fun' to dance the rebellion. It is a collar trap."

[Q&A SESSION - PLANT QUESTIONS] "I open The Circle. Ladies, ask me about your rights and your risks."

  • Plant Question 1: "Mistress, can I wear my hair in a ponytail?"

    • Answer: "If you are Low Caste, you must secure your hair off your shoulders. But Law 3.2.3 specifically forbids 'ponytails or slave-like hairstyles.' Use a pin. Use a net. Do not look like a girl in the Kennels."

  • Plant Question 2: "Mistress, if a man insults me, can I hit him?"

    • Answer: "No. You are a lady. Report him to your Companion or a Magistrate. If you brawl in the street, you look like a common wench. Dignity is your weapon."

[CLOSING] "Next week is the most dangerous week of our course. Week 6: The Trap. We will discuss how Free Women lose their freedom through Debt, Crime, and bad choices. The Circle is closed!"

📜 SCRIPT 1: WEEK 5, DAY 1 (THE LECTURE)

Host: Kati Evans Topic: The Robes of Concealment (Dress Code)

(Instructions: Stand at the podium. Wait for Crier to finish.)

[LINE 1] Tal. Welcome to Week 5. Today we speak to the Free Women of Teletus. And to the men who must guard them. In other worlds, women flaunt their skin. Here, we know that what is precious must be wrapped. That is why we have Law 3.2: Dress.

[LINE 2] Law 3.2.2 applies to the High Caste. If you are a Scribe, Builder, Physician, Warrior, or Initiate... you must be veiled. Your hair must be up and off your shoulders. Why? Because loose hair is a signal of the bedroom. In public, you are a mind and a spirit. Your body is private.

[LINE 3] Law 3.2.3 applies to the Low Caste. You are not required to veil, though you may choose to. But you must still cover your hair or style it up. No ponytails. No loose manes blowing in the wind.

[LINE 4] Listen closely to Law 3.2.1. It calls for "Robes of Concealment." That means no sheer fabric. No transparent silks that show the leg when you walk. If you dress like a slave, do not be surprised if you are treated like one.

[LINE 5] For High Caste women, only the hair, neck, and hands may be exposed. Low Caste women may expose lower arms for work. Anything more is a risk. We will discuss that risk later this week.

[LINE 6 - CLOSING] Ladies, check your mirrors before you leave your homes. Your Robes are your armor. Tomorrow, our players will show you the danger of a Free Woman entering places she does not belong. Dismissed!

🗣️ SCRIPT 2: WEEK 5, DAY 5 (THE FORUM)

Host: Kati Evans Topic: "Slave-Like Behavior" (Intro)

(Instructions: This is interactive. Be prepared to pause.)

[LINE 1] Tal. We end Week 5. We have spoken of how a Free Woman should act. But what happens when she stops acting like a Free Woman? Next week, we will talk about Enslavement. But today, I want to warn you about the slippery slope.

[LINE 2] Law 3.3 lists actions that make you "Slave-Like." If you act like a slave, the Law may decide to make you one.

[LINE 3] Law 3.3.5: Public Lewdness. Kissing in the street? Fondling? That is behavior for slaves. A Free Woman keeps her affection private.

[LINE 4] Law 3.3.7: Slave Dancing. Do not think it is "fun" to dance the rebellion or the sensuous dances of the paga tavern in the street. You are advertising yourself. If you dance like merchandise, a Slaver has the right to claim you.

[LINE 5 - Q&A OPENER] I open The Circle. Ladies, ask me about your rights and your risks.

(Wait for questions. If silence, use a PLANT QUESTION below).

  • (If needed - Plant Question 1): "Mistress, can I wear my hair in a ponytail? It is hot working in the bakery."

    • Your Answer: "No. Law 3.2.3 specifically forbids 'ponytails or slave-like hairstyles.' Use a pin. Use a net. Use a bun. Do not look like a girl in the Kennels."

  • (If needed - Plant Question 2): "Mistress, if a man insults me in the street, can I hit him?"

    • Your Answer: "No. You are a lady. Report him to your Companion or a Magistrate. If you brawl in the street, you look like a common wench. Dignity is your weapon. Let the men use their fists."

[LINE 6 - CLOSING] Next week is the most dangerous week of our course. Week 6: The Trap. We will discuss how Free Women lose their freedom through Debt, Crime, and bad choices.

[LINE 7] Guard your coin and your virtue. The Circle is closed!

Week 5 - To Do  Items

🛠️ Immediate Setup (Administrative)

  • [ ] Create Notecards: Create 6 separate Notecards inside Second Life (Logistics/Crier + Days 1–5).

  • [ ] Distribute to Staff: Pass the relevant Notecards to your staff and talent pool.

  • [ ] Update the Crier: Ensure the street slave deletes Week 4 macros and installs the Week 5 versions (Topic: Modesty and Veils).

  • [ ] Targeted Outreach: Since this week is crucial for female players, send a special notice to the Free Women groups/lists specifically inviting them to audit their wardrobe against the Law.

🎭 Creative Assignments (Delegation)

  • [ ] Send Brief to Aria (Day 2): Deliver "The Tavern Mistake" brief.

    • Action Item: Emphasize the casting for Lady Elara—she needs to look "High Caste" but be visibly acting naive/entitled.

  • [ ] Send Brief to Aria/Poets (Day 3): Deliver "The Shield of Silk" brief.

    • Action Item: The poem needs to reframe the veil as a privilege, not a punishment.

  • [ ] Recruit Guest Speaker (Day 4): Select the Storyteller for "The Crime of the Face-Stripper."

    • Action Item: This is a heavy topic (Assault). Ensure the speaker can handle the serious gravity of Law 4.3.4.

🗓️ Daily Execution Checklist

Day 1: The Lecture (Kati)

  • [ ] Wardrobe Check: Ensure you (Kati) are perfectly veiled and dressed according to High Caste standards (Law 3.2.2) to model the lesson.

  • [ ] Prep Visuals: If possible, have a Low Caste confederate stand nearby to demonstrate the difference in "Hair up/off shoulders" vs. the High Caste veil.

Day 2: The Play (Aria/Actors)

  • [ ] Set Check: The stage needs to look like a Tavern (add a bar counter or table with Paga props).

  • [ ] Blocking Check: The "Ejection" scene needs to be firm. The Magistrate shouldn't just ask her to leave; he should escort her out to show the shame of it.

Day 3: The Poem (Aria/Poets)

  • [ ] Prop Check: It would be effective if the Poet (or a silent actor) slowly adjusts or secures her veil while reciting the line about the "Wall of silk and lace."

Day 4: The Story (Guest Speaker)

  • [ ] Audience Control: This story might rile up the men. Be ready to quiet the crowd if they start cheering for the "Face-Stripper" (the point of the story is that he gets punished).

Day 5: The Forum (Kati)

  • [ ] Review "Slave-Like" Behaviors: Refresh your memory on Law 3.3.5 (Lewdness) and 3.3.7 (Dancing).

  • [ ] Prep Plant Questions: Ensure your confederate is ready with:

    • "Can I wear a ponytail?" (No, that's for the Kennels).

    • "Can I hit a man who insults me?" (No, that's unladylike).
