START - Project Management Checklist

Expanding to 5 events a week creates a massive, immersive 65-session curriculum. This allows you to move beyond just "listing the laws" and start doing deep dives, mock trials, and interactive scenarios.

With a 5-day schedule, I recommend establishing a "Weekly Rhythm" so the citizens know what kind of event to expect each day.

The Weekly Rhythm (Template)

Day 1: The Scribe’s Lecture (Pure Information/Teaching)
Day 2: The Player’s Stage (A Short Play/Skit demonstrating the law)
Day 3: The Poet’s Corner (Stories/Poems regarding the moral of the law)
Day 4: The Magistrate’s Eye (Case Studies: "Why was this person punished?")
Day 5: The Open Circle (Q&A, Review, or Mock Trial)

How to Manage This Volume

To make 5 days a week sustainable for you, delegate the days:

  • You (Kati): Host Day 1 (The Lecture) and Day 5 (The Forum).
  • Aria & Poets: Take Day 2 and 3 (Plays/Poems).
  • Guest Speakers (Magistrates/Scribes): Take Day 4.
  • This way, you are only personally preparing content for 2 days a week, while "The Circle" remains active for 5.

Formatting Tips for Second Life

  • Bold text: If your viewer supports it, use it for emphasis on "The Circle".

  • Emotes: The text in brackets [ ] acts as your /me command actions to add life to the text.

Would you like me to fill in the [INSERT TOPIC] sections with a specific subject (e.g., Scribe Law, Accounting, Map Making)?

📂 Project Overview

  • Name: The Circle (formerly "The Hearth of Enlightened Study").

  • Mission: To teach the Laws of Teletus (City, Caste, Merchant, Criminal, Slavery) to the populace through entertainment rather than dry reading.

  • Format: 5 Days a Week for 13 Weeks (The "First Cycle").

    • Day 1: The Lecture (Host: Kati).

    • Day 2: The Play (Actors).

    • Day 3: The Poem (Poets).

    • Day 4: The Story (Guest Speaker).

    • Day 5: The Forum/Q&A (Host: Kati).

📚 The Curriculum (Phases)

We established a 6-Phase syllabus covering all major sections of the law code you provided:

  1. The Foundations (Weeks 1–4): Authority, Home Stone, Citizenship, Castes, Taxes, and Household.

  2. Society & Decorum (Weeks 5–6): Free Women, Veils, and "Slave-Like Behavior."

  3. Commerce (Weeks 7–8): Merchant Licenses, Weights, Contracts, and Animal Laws.

  4. Crime & Justice (Weeks 9–10): Theft, Assault, Arrests, Warrants, and Trials.

  5. Servitude (Weeks 11–12): Ownership, Kennels, The Death Rules, and Manumission.

  6. Conclusion (Week 13): Slavers, Poison Slaves, and The Graduation.

📝 Assets Created (The "Loot")

We have generated the following text blocks, ready for you to copy into Notecards:

1. Strategic Documents

  • Formal Proposal: To send to Aria/Nabila (Caste of Players) to recruit talent.

  • Project Checklist: Logistics for the Crier, Stage Setup, and Scheduling.

  • Master Syllabus: A public-facing document listing the 13-week schedule.

  • Closing Strategy: Plans for the "Seal of the Enlightened Citizen" badge and the Final Quiz.

2. Weekly Production Packages (Weeks 1–13) For every single week, we created:

  • Crier Macros: Shout text for the slave running the streets.

  • Creative Briefs (Day 2 & 3): Instructions for Aria’s Actors and Poets (e.g., "The Traitor's Folly," "The Tavern Mistake").

  • Story Briefs (Day 4): Prompts for Guest Speakers.

3. Performance Scripts (Word-for-Word) We wrote the full lecture and Q&A scripts for you (Kati) to host on Day 1 and Day 5 for the following weeks:

  • Week 1: Foundations / Citizenship Pledge.

  • Week 2: Status (Visitor vs Citizen) / Entry Safety.

  • Week 3: Caste Mandate / Finding Your Place.

  • Week 4: Taxes / Contracts.

  • Week 5: Dress Code / Slave-Like Behavior Intro.

  • Week 6: Slave-Like Behavior (Details) / Scenarios.

  • Week 7: Licenses / Weights.

  • Week 8: Tools of Trade / Beasts.

  • Week 10: Arrests / Courtroom Etiquette.

  • Week 11: Property Rights / Kennel Rules.

  • Week 12: Death Rules / Manumission.

  • Week 13: Slavers / The Graduation Ceremony.

(Note: Week 9 [Crimes] has a full production brief, but we did not generate the word-for-word script in the final batch, though the brief is detailed enough to perform).

🚀 Recommended Next Steps

  1. Folder Setup: Create a folder in your inventory named PROJECT: THE CIRCLE and create 13 sub-folders inside it.

  2. Archiving: Copy the scripts from this chat into Notecards inside those folders immediately so they are safe.

  3. Outreach: Send the Week 1 Creative Brief to Aria so her team can start rehearsing "The Traitor's Folly."

  4. Build: Have a slave set up the "Pop-Up Stage" (Rug, Stools, Podium) and put it in a Rez-Box.

Project Management Checklist

- to get from this planning phase to the actual Launch Day of Week 1.

Phase 1: Logistics & Infrastructure (Do this First)

Before you book a single person, ensure the "machinery" of the event works.

  • [ ] Build "The Circle" Kit:

    • Have a slave or Builder construct the physical set: A simple rug, a circle of 6–10 stools, a podium, and perhaps a brazier/fire pot (The "Hearth").

    • Crucial: Put this entire build into a Rez-Box (or combine the objects) so your slave can rez it in seconds at any location and derez it just as fast.

  • [ ] Create the Crier Macros:

    • Write the gesture/chat macro for the slave who will run through the city.

    • Draft: /shout HEAR YE! HEAR YE! The Circle gathers in 5 ahns at the Inn! Come hear the Word of the Law!

  • [ ] Select the Locations:

    • Scout 3 distinct spots to rotate through (e.g., The Well, The Inn Courtyard, The Docks). Ensure they are not "no-script" zones if you use scripted furniture.

Phase 2: Talent Assignment (The "Assignment Desk")

You have the syllabus. Now you need to assign the work to Aria and her team so they can write/rehearse.

  • [ ] Send the "Week 1 Packet" to Aria:

    • Do not send her the whole 13 weeks yet. Send her the Week 1 Syllabus.

    • Message: "Aria, here is the schedule for Week 1 (Authority & Home Stone). I will handle Day 1 and 5. Can you and your troupe cover Day 2 (Play: Treason), Day 3 (Poem: Allegiance), and Day 4 (Story: The Ubar)?"

  • [ ] Confirm Dates with Kimba/Lillian:

    • Look at the gaps Aria leaves. Slot Kimba in for the "Story" or "Play" slots if Aria's caste is busy.

Phase 3: Content Creation (Your Part)

You are responsible for Day 1 (The Lecture) and Day 5 (The Forum).

  • [ ] Write the "Day 1" Script:

    • This is the debut. It needs to explain what The Circle is, followed by the lesson on the Home Stone.

  • [ ] Prepare the "Day 5" Q&A List:

    • Prepare 3 "plant" questions (give them to a slave in the audience) to get the conversation started if the crowd is shy.

Phase 4: Marketing

  • [ ] The Group Notice:

    • Draft a notice to go out to the city group 24 hours before launch.

  • [ ] The Visual:

    • Create a simple texture (poster) to place at the landing point: "THE CIRCLE: Learning the Law. Daily at [Time]."
