Title: Proposal: THE CIRCLE To: The Esteemed Caste of Poets and Players (c/o Aria/Nabila Daffyd) From: Kati Evans, Teletus Subject: A Collaboration of Law and Art
The Vision Teletus is a growing city with a diverse populace. While our laws are written in scrolls, many of our citizens—and certainly the children—cannot read them. To ensure our traditions and codes are understood by all, we are establishing "THE CIRCLE."
The goal is simple but ambitious: to move education out of the classroom and into the streets, using the arts to teach the law.
The Request We are seeking talented members of your Caste—poets, storytellers, actors, and playwrights—to help us bring the city’s laws to life. We do not want dry lectures; we want engagement.
We are looking for artists willing to:
Interpret the Law: Create poems or short stories that illustrate a specific city law or caste code (e.g., a cautionary tale about theft, or a poem extolling the virtues of a specific caste).
Perform: Present short plays or readings that entertain the crowd while simultaneously educating them.
Engage: Participate in open discussions or "pop-up" forums.
The Format "THE CIRCLE" is a portable, pop-up event.
Location: Rotating locations throughout Teletus (e.g., The Inn, The Gate, The Pirate Cove).
Duration: Events are short and accessible (30–60 minutes).
Support: My staff will handle all logistics, including the setup of the stage/seating and the Crier services to gather the crowd. You need only bring your talent.
Next Steps We are currently scheduling our inaugural events. We have flexible times available, including US and EU friendly slots. If you or members of your fellowship are interested in using your art to shape the minds of Teletus, please contact Kati Evans.
I look forward to seeing what we can create together.
Kati Evans
Assistant Head of the Scribe Caste and Master Magistrate of Teletus
