To provide every Citizen, Resident, and Slave of Teletus with a working knowledge of the City Laws. Through lectures, plays, poetry, and debate, we ensure that the laws of the Ubar are understood by all, regardless of literacy or caste.

Day 2: The Player's Stage (Dramatic Reenactment)
Day 3: The Poet's Corner (Reflections on the Law)

📚 CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
PHASE I: THE FOUNDATIONS
Who rules us, and who are we?
Week 1: Authority & The Home Stone
Focus: The Ubar, The High Council, and the Definition of Treason (Law 1.4).
Week 2: Status & Entry
Focus: The difference between Citizens, Residents, and Visitors. The Laws of the Gate (Law 1.5).
Week 3: The Caste System
Focus: The Mandate (Law 2.1), Changing Castes, and the danger of Outlawry.
Week 4: Duty & The Household
Focus: Taxes (Law 1.10), The Head of Household (Law 1.7), and Inheritance.
PHASE II: SOCIETY & DECORUM
How to act, how to dress, and how to remain Free.
Week 5: Free Women
Focus: Robes of Concealment (Law 3.2), Veils, and Public Conduct.
Week 6: The Trap
Focus: "Slave-Like Behavior" (Law 3.3) and Enslavement through Debt (Law 1.8.2).
PHASE III: COMMERCE
The Laws of Coin and Trade.
Week 7: Merchant Law I
Focus: Business Licenses (Law 5.3), Standard Weights, and Fraud.
Week 8: Merchant Law II
Focus: Contracts, Slaves in Business (Law 5.8), and Animal Laws (Law 5.9).
PHASE IV: CRIME & JUSTICE
The consequences of breaking the Code.
Week 9: Criminal Law I
Focus: Theft, Assault, Arson, and Physical Punishments (Ear Notching/Amputation).
Week 10: Criminal Law II
Focus: Warrants (Law 4.5), The Trial Process, and Perjury.
PHASE V: SERVITUDE
The Laws governing Property.
Week 11: Slavery Law (Ownership)
Focus: Property Status, Registration Papers, and The Kennels (Law 6.5).
Week 12: Slavery Law (Conduct)
Focus: The Three Death Rules (Weapons, Lying, Striking) and Manumission.
PHASE VI: CONCLUSION
Week 13: The Grand Review
Focus: Slavers, Forbidden Weapons, and Final Certification.
🎓 CERTIFICATION
Citizens who attend the majority of the cycle or pass the Magistrate's Challenge in Week 13 will be awarded the Seal of the Enlightened Citizen to display in their homes.
