Here is the full production script for Week 8, Day 3.
To ensure this fills the 30–60 minute window, the focus today is on Roleplay Realism. I have added a specific interactive segment called "Man or Beast?" This is designed to teach the difference between a "Gorean Animal" and a "Furry" (Human in a suit), which is a critical distinction in the laws of the sim.
Special Instruction: You must copy the "Part 2: The Poem" section into a Notecard and give it to your Poet (from Aria’s team) before the event.
📜 SECOND LIFE SCRIPT: WEEK 8, DAY 3

🎤 PART 1: THE INTRODUCTION (Kati)
(Walk to the podium. Rest your hand on the Leash/Skull. Look primal.)
[Chat Block 1] /me steps up to the podium. She runs her hand over the rough texture of the leather leash on the wood. "Tal, Citizens. Welcome to Day 3 of The Circle."
[Chat Block 2] "We are a city of stone and law. But we share our streets with the Wild. The Sleen, the Tarsk, the Panther, the Kaiila. They serve us, they feed us, and sometimes... they hunt us."
[Chat Block 3] "Law 5.9 governs the Beasts. It is a unique law because it governs creatures that cannot read. Therefore, the burden of the Law falls on the Master... and the spirit of the beast."
[Chat Block 4] "We welcome animal avatars in Teletus. But we demand they be animals. Law 5.9.6 says: 'Do not be a Human in an animal suit.' We do not want talking dogs. We want the raw, silent majesty of nature."
[Chat Block 5] "To capture the silence of the predator, I have invited a voice from the Caste of Singers. I present to you [Poet's Name], who will recite a piece titled 'The Beast Within.'"
/me steps back from the podium and gestures for the Poet to take the center stage.
📜 PART 2: THE POEM (For the Actor/Poet)
(Give this text to your Poet. They should paste one stanza at a time, waiting 20 seconds between each to let the text settle.)
[Stanza 1] /me crouches low to the ground, movements fluid and predatory. "No words from the throat of the sleen, Only the hiss, and the fang unseen. The mind of a man is a complex maze, But the beast knows only the hunt and the graze. I do not bargain, I do not trade, I am the instinct the Priest-Kings made."
[Stanza 2] /me paces back and forth, like a caged animal. "You speak of taxes, of walls, of gold, I speak of the scent of the moss and mold. Do not ask me to open the latched gate, I wait for the Master, I wait for Fate. My logic is simple: The Tooth and the Claw, Obeying the Leash is my only Law."
[Stanza 3] /me looks at the audience, tapping their chest. "Do not give me a voice, do not give me a soul, I am part of the Pack, I am not the Whole. If you treat me as Man in a furry skin, You kill the beauty of the Beast Within. Respect my silence, respect my might, Or I shall vanish into the night."
[Stanza 4] /me stands tall, letting out a long breath. "The chain is heavy, the collar is tight, But the Law of the Beast is the Law of the Fight. Respect the claw, but mind the chain, For the Law rules the city, and the beast rules the plain."
(The Poet bows deeply to the crowd.)
🎤 PART 3: THE ANALYSIS (Kati Returns)
(Wait for applause. Walk back to the podium.)
[Chat Block 6] /me returns to the podium. "Thank you, [Poet's Name]. 'Respect my silence.' That is the key."
[Chat Block 7] "Law 5.9.2 is the most broken law in the city. It says: 'No beast may speak in Local.' You must Emote your posts."
[Chat Block 8] "A Sleen does not say, 'Hey, move over.' A Sleen emotes: /me growls low in its throat, baring teeth at the man blocking the path."
[Chat Block 9] "If you speak human words, you break the immersion of the city. You become a cartoon. Be the Beast. Be Silent."
🐾 PART 4: MAN OR BEAST? (Interactive Game)
[Chat Block 10] /me leans forward. "I want to play a game to test your understanding of Animal Logic. I will describe an action by an animal. You tell me: Real Beast (Legal) or Human in a Suit (Illegal)?"
[Scenario 1] "Scenario 1: A Sleen is locked in a room. It wants to get out. It stands on its hind legs, grabs the door handle with its claws, turns it, and opens the door. Beast or Human?" (WAIT. Answer: HUMAN/ILLEGAL.)
[Chat Block 11] "Verdict: HUMAN (Illegal). Law 5.9.12. 'Most animals cannot open latched doors... unless trained to do so.' A sleen does not understand doorknobs. It would scratch at the wood. It would whine. It would not pick the lock."
[Scenario 2] "Scenario 2: A Tarsk (wild boar) wanders into the tavern. A Warrior spills beer on it. The Tarsk immediately attacks the Warrior to kill him. Beast or Human?" (WAIT. Answer: HUMAN/ILLEGAL - Missing Warnings.)
[Chat Block 12] "Verdict: ILLEGAL. Why? Law 5.9.3. 'You must post at least 3 warnings prior to an attack.' A real animal postures first. It snorts. It paws the ground. Instant murder is a human trait, not a beast trait. Give the warnings."
[Scenario 3] "Scenario 3: A Panther is chained to a post outside the Inn. The Master leaves for an hour. The Panther sits there, sleeping and snapping at flies, for the whole hour. Beast or Human?" (WAIT. Answer: BEAST/LEGAL.)
[Chat Block 13] "Verdict: BEAST (Legal). Law 5.9.13. 'If you are tied or chained, you WILL stay tied.' An animal cannot untie a knot. It waits. That is good roleplay."
❓ PART 5: Q&A SEGMENT
[Chat Block 14] "I will take questions now regarding Animal Laws, Combat, or Handling."
(Signal PLANT A)
[PLANT A QUESTION] (Plant asks): "Mistress! What is the Beast Meter? Do all animals need one?"
[Chat Block 15 - Answer] /me nods. "Law 5.9.1. 'All beasts must wear the appropriate Beast Meter.'"
[Chat Block 16] "Just like Warriors wear a Combat Meter (GM/CM), animals must have one to track damage. If you do not have a meter, you are a ghost. You cannot hunt, and you cannot be hunted. Go to the entrance point to get one."
(Signal PLANT B)
[PLANT B QUESTION] (Plant asks): "Mistress, what if I see an animal acting 'Human'? Do I arrest it?"
[Chat Block 17 - Answer] /me smiles. "You cannot 'arrest' a sleen. You call the Beast Moderator or a Slaver."
[Chat Block 18] "But in roleplay? Treat it like a demon. If a sleen starts talking to me about politics, I will assume it is possessed by a demon and I will kill it. Or I will ignore it. Do not engage with bad roleplay; it encourages them."
🏁 THE CLOSING
[Chat Block 19] /me smooths her robes. "To the Beast players: We value you. You make the city feel alive and dangerous. But keep the mystery. Keep the silence."
[Chat Block 20] "Tomorrow, we will have a Storyteller share the tale of 'The Three Growls.'"
[Chat Block 21] "It is a story of a boy who poked a Tarsk with a stick, ignored the three warnings, and learned why we respect the tusk."
[Chat Block 22] "Thank you to our Poet. The Circle is closed!"
(Signal Crier/Slave to end.)
