Here is the full production script for Week 5, Day 3.
To ensure this fills the 30–60 minute window, the focus today is on the Psychology of the Veil. I have added a specific interactive segment called "The Silent Language," where you teach the audience how to communicate using only eyes and gestures—a vital skill for Gorean roleplay.
Special Instruction: You must copy the "Part 2: The Poem" section into a Notecard and give it to your Poet (from Aria’s team) before the event.

π€ PART 1: THE INTRODUCTION (Kati)
(Walk to the podium. Wait for the crowd. Keep the tone elegant.)
[Chat Block 1] /me steps up to the podium. She moves with deliberate slowness, her robes rustling softly. "Tal, Citizens. Welcome to Day 3 of The Circle."
[Chat Block 2] "On Day 1, we listed the rules of the Robe. On Day 2, we saw Lady Elara shamed for forgetting her place. But today, we ask: Why?"
[Chat Block 3] "Many women who come to Teletus from the barbarian worlds see the Veil as a cage. They see it as a muzzle. They are wrong."
[Chat Block 4] "In Gor, the Veil is not a cage. It is a Shield. It is a wall of silk that says, 'I am not for you.' It separates the Public Woman from the Private Treasure."
[Chat Block 5] "To explain this mystery, I have invited a voice from the Caste of Singers. I present to you [Poet's Name], who will recite a piece titled 'The Shield of Silk.'"
/me steps back from the podium and gestures for the Poet to take the center stage.
π PART 2: THE POEM (For the Actor/Poet)
(Give this text to your Poet. They should paste one stanza at a time, waiting 15-20 seconds between each to let the imagery sink in.)
[Stanza 1] /me stands center stage, holding a scarf or piece of silk (if possible), looking at it reverently. "A jewel kept in velvet deep, Is safe while wolves and shadows creep. The diamond does not beg for light, It shines within the darkest night. So too the Lady hides her face, With layers of the finest lace."
[Stanza 2] /me wraps the silk around their hand or arm. "The slave girl walks with skin so bare, To catch the common market stare. She is a fruit for all to see, A public thing, and never free. But I am hidden, I am high, Protected from the passerby."
[Stanza 3] /me looks out at the men in the audience with a challenging gaze. "You may not see the smile I hide, You may not know the thought inside. My Veil is iron, spun from thread, It silences the words unsaid. It tells the Warrior, strong and tall, 'You cannot breach this silken wall.'"
[Stanza 4] /me bows head, pressing hand to chest. "So pity not the veiled wife, Who lives the sheltered, secret life. For in the shadow of the hood, I stand exactly where I should. Let slaves go bare for all to see, My modesty is what makes me Free."
(The Poet bows deeply to the crowd.)
π€ PART 3: THE ANALYSIS (Kati Returns)
(Wait for applause. Walk back to the podium.)
[Chat Block 6] /me returns to the podium. "Thank you, [Poet's Name]. 'My modesty is what makes me Free.' That is the paradox."
[Chat Block 7] "When you are Veiled, you are observing the world, but the world cannot observe you. You have the power. A man must guess your mood. A man must earn your trust to see your face."
[Chat Block 8] "Law 3.2.2 requires the Veil for High Caste women. But I urge even the Low Caste women here: Consider the scarf. Consider the hood. It buys you privacy in a crowded city."
π️ PART 4: THE SILENT LANGUAGE (Interactive Game)
[Chat Block 9] /me leans forward. "But the Veil creates a challenge. If they cannot see your mouth, how do you speak? A Gorean Lady speaks with her Eyes and her Hands."
[Chat Block 10] "I want to teach you the Silent Language. I will describe a gesture. You tell me what it means."
[Gesture 1] "Gesture 1: A Free Woman is walking. A man approaches. She stops, casts her eyes down to the ground, and pulls her robe tighter around her chest. What is she saying?" (WAIT. Answer: "I am modest / Do not approach / Respect me.")
[Chat Block 11] "Correct. She is saying: 'I am unavailable. Pass me by.' It is a shield against conversation."
[Gesture 2] "Gesture 2: A Free Woman is sitting. She looks a man in the eye, holds his gaze for two seconds, then looks away and smiles behind her veil. What is she saying?" (WAIT. Answer: "I am interested / You may approach / Flirting.")
[Chat Block 12] "Correct. The eyes are the only window. If she holds your gaze, she is inviting you to speak. If she looks through you, you do not exist."
[Gesture 3] "Gesture 3: A Free Woman sees a slave girl acting poorly. She taps her fan (or hand) sharply against her own palm three times. What does this mean?" (WAIT. Answer: "Disapproval / Be silent / Warning.")
[Chat Block 13] "Yes. It is a warning. It says, 'Check yourself before I call a guard.' A Lady does not scream; she signals."
❓ Q&A SEGMENT
[Chat Block 14] "I will take questions now regarding the Veil, Modesty, or the protection of women."
(Signal PLANT A)
[PLANT A QUESTION] (Plant asks): "Mistress! Does the Veil make me invisible? If I am veiled, can I go into the Warrior's Hall?"
[Chat Block 15 - Answer] /me laughs softly. "No. You are not a ghost. Law 3.1.4 still applies. A veiled woman in the Warrior's Hall is still a distraction. Perhaps more of a distraction, because men will wonder who you are."
[Chat Block 16] "The Veil protects your face, not your location. Do not go where you are forbidden."
(Signal PLANT B)
[PLANT B QUESTION] (Plant asks): "Mistress, what if a man touches my Veil? What if he tries to lift it?"
[Chat Block 17 - Answer] /me freezes. Her voice turns ice cold. "That is Face-Stripping. Law 4.3.4."
[Chat Block 18] "It is one of the highest crimes in the city. To strip a woman's veil is equal to rape in the eyes of the Law. If a man reaches for your veil, you scream. You call the guards. He will likely lose the hand that touched you."
π THE CLOSING
[Chat Block 19] /me smooths her robes. "Ladies, wear your silk with pride. It is the flag of your freedom."
[Chat Block 20] "Tomorrow, we look at the darker side of this coin. We will have a Storyteller share the tale of 'The Crime of the Face-Stripper.'"
[Chat Block 21] "We will see exactly what happens when a drunkard forgets Law 4.3.4 and touches a High Caste woman. It is a bloody lesson."
[Chat Block 22] "Thank you to our Poet. The Circle is closed!"
(Signal Crier/Slave to end.)
